Common questions

What does "per league" mean?
Each Discord server you run a league in is billed separately. If you run 3 leagues across 3 Discord servers, you decide which ones go Premium. You could have 1 Premium ($12.99/mo) and 2 free, or all 3 Premium ($38.97/mo). Each subscription is independent.
How do I start Premium?
Start Premium from this page after choosing monthly or annual billing. Stripe handles checkout, and the free tier is permanent and never expires.
Can I downgrade from Premium to Free?
Yes, anytime, no questions asked. Your data is preserved — all standings, schedules, stats, member profiles stay intact. You can also download your full league history (standings, schedule, rosters, trades, and cross-season stats) as JSON or per-section CSV anytime from the Exports page — it's yours to keep. You just lose access to the league-running commands (week advance, active checks, etc.), AI features, web dashboard, and weekly content workflows. Re-upgrading later picks up exactly where you left off.
Is there a discount for multiple leagues?
Not initially. Each league is $12.99/mo on its own. If you're running 5+ leagues commercially, reach out — we'll figure something out. We're also exploring an Enterprise tier for streamers and content creators running multiple monetized leagues.
Why is the workflow stuff (week advance, active checks) Premium-only?
Honestly: because that's where the value of running a league actually lives. Free is enough to set up your Discord server and see what Coach Lefty can do. Premium is for actually running a season. We don't want to support free-forever serious leagues — but we also don't want a wall on the front door.
Why does Coach Lefty need Discord Administrator access?
Discord Administrator access is required because Coach Lefty creates game channels, assigns team roles, and posts league announcements automatically. Your league data is used to run those workflows - schedules, standings, rosters, recaps, trades, and member activity - and is not sold or used as fake public proof.
How does this compare to NeonSportz / Snallabot / DaddyLeagues?
Snallabot is free and Discord-only. We have a free tier too, but Snallabot doesn't have AI recaps, a web commissioner cockpit, or mobile preview companion access at any price.

NeonSportz is $35 flat per Madden cycle (one-time lump sum at season start — ~$2.92/mo amortized). It has Discord + web + mobile, but no AI, no Coach Lefty character, and no cross-surface sync.

Is FranchiseHQ official with EA / Madden?
No. FranchiseHQ is independent and not affiliated with EA Sports, the NFL, or any team. We use the publicly-available Madden Companion App data feed and never reproduce official NFL trademarks or team marks. All league branding is generated by you.
I'm on DaddyLeagues / Dynasty Dashboard / NeonSportz — is switching risky?
